As I sit in a train, feeling the bumpity, bumpity, bump, as it goes over the rails, my lens captures the receding waters of a river as the tide slowly pulls the water back and away. It is raining and the the clouds are low, obscuring the mountain range behind. These are the photos that I captured of the adventure I am on…
I notice that was once an island is really land connected!
A lone bird takes advantage of the outgoing tide. Table for one!
What appears to be a river is just more land exposed and water slipping away!
Patterns emerge as the bottom is exposed.
Imagine my surprise to catch these two birds sharing a table!
Finally the bottom is revealed…
Isn’t it amazing what time and tides reveal?
Have a great Tuesday and thank you for dropping by! Be well! ^..^
I love to go to the beaches, especially the tide pools, when we have the extremely low tides. So much beauty.
I love walking along the tide pools and miss doing that! We used to go to the coast all the time when we lived in the SF Bay Area. There is a lot of beauty there!
Oh how wonderful to spy a bald eagle. Gorgeous views and photos. My kind of adventure. 🙂
What was amazing is that I was on a moving train, shooting through a window, and that it came out as clear as it did! Glad you enjoyed this Debra! 🙂
What an interesting phenomenon. Beautiful photos!
Cool – huh? Thank you!
I’ve seen this when the tide goes out and it makes my Heart yearn to be near the ocean. Thank you, Babs, for these glorious images. Thank YOU! Love, Amy
Glad you enjoyed this Amy! Hugs!
Nice photos and I’ll bet I know which of the two birds won if anything was found to eat.
Thank you PJ!
