Well, it is the beginning of the work week once again! So, I thought this morning I would share a bit of sunshine with you all found in the faces of some flowers in my spring garden! The flower: Calendula!
I wanted to share more than these two photos but I need to get ready for work and WordPress is having issues as I keep getting HTTP errors when I try to upload photos!
NEWS FLASH: Low snow is expected in the Sierra Foothills this afternoon, with a winter weather advisory! Here is what the National Weather service has to say: “WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM PDT TUESDAY ABOVE 2500 FEET… * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 1 TO 3 INCHES.”
I wish you a great Monday! Thanks for dropping by!
calendula! one of my favorites. The only flowers here still are the ones living in the house. The snow is melting fast though.
They are such a lovely flower, and a lot of the early blossoms I give to a friend who uses them in the soap that she sells! Pretty cool!
Keep sharing the sunshine! 🙂
Thank you for your kind comment RoSy!
What a gorgeous bloom! Such a warm sunny yellow. Thanks! I hope you get a bunch of snow up there.
Thank you! Me too!
Wait! What? The beginning of the work week would imply that there was an ending somewhere. I missed it! I’ve been missing those work week endings all my life!…………lol
Hee hee!
Oh Boy! – A possibility of snow, and as a regular reader I know how much you enjoy it – hopefully you’ll get a snow day from work as well. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. And – wow what a bright yellow flower in your photo, very nice reminder that spring is here, even if you do get some snow.
Thank you PJ! Snow would be really nice!
