This week the folks over at Let’s Be Wild have asked us to once again get outdoors and share photos of reflections. So this got me to reflecting on what reflections I could come up with! So here we go!
In the summertime here the frogs come out big time! We wandered out to our chairs one afternoon with our evening cocktail and found a prince sitting in my chair!
When we were in Yellowstone it was on the calmer pools of water that I discovered how magnificent the reflections were there. Here is a shot at the edge of the grand prismatic pool.
The colors in Yellowstone were amazing as can be seen in this photo! You can also see a bit of the depth in this pool of water.
In this shot I captured the clouds reflecting on still water where dramatic colors lie beneath.
Nothing could be as grand though as the Grand Tetons!
Back at home, when we had a boat race in our area, I was lucky to get this shot of the boats zipping along in one our small lakes.
Please take some time this week to check out other submissions to this week’s challenge. You can get there by clicking here!
Have a great Thursday! And, thank you for stopping by to visit!
Lovely blog, one photo nicer than the other!
[…] salmonfishingqueen captures the beauty of not only the reflections, but the place that creates and frames the reflection. […]
Beautiful 🙂 one day i will get to yellowstone 🙂 love the frog .. But the boats are my fave 🙂
Thanks Jenn!
Beautiful shots, especially the ones with the clouds and tress in it. 🙂
Thank you Imelda!
Wonderful! Number two is my favourite!
Thanks Ann! I really like that one too!
I love the 2nd, 3rd and 4th photos the most – mainly because they’re abstract. Plus, the colors make me smile! 🙂
Thanks Shannon! I love the abstract too!
A trip down memory lane for me…thanks Barb! 🙂
You are welcome and thank you for the comment!
unusual colours and angles, I love them but that dramatic black and white of the boats I think is a winner
Thanks Pauline!

Sharla – This is a wonderful compilation of frog photos! Thank you for sharing!
🙂
You have captured some nice reflections. I enjoyed the Grand Tetons and boat shots most, but all have captured a reflection of something not directly seen in the photos.
Thanks PJ!
