She reflected on her day. It started well enough. She had her morning coffee with her husband, then got dressed and went outside to spray the liquid deer fencing. Then she hit the shower afterwards because the slight breeze covered her with the spray and she smelled like rotten eggs.
She next had to deal with Amazon.com over a purchase, which they had screwed up. It took 45 minutes to come to a resolution. She had to re-pack the purchase, which with the three items had to go back to two different places, and she only had one box. She still could not believe that the one package needed two shipping labels to two different places. Once done, she was ready to head to town to meet up for lunch with friends.
Lunch was delightful. They had gone out for Chinese food. She headed back home. The aromas from the crock-pot dinner were amazing. She had made a beef chuck roast for tacos, which came out great!
She headed out to the garden to have a cocktail with her husband, which was when she tripped and fell. She found herself unzipped because she had had fallen to pieces!

And, thank you dear reader for dropping in today. Have a stupendous Sunday!
Be well! ^..^
Nice story … and what a surprising ending.
Thank you!
What a fun little tripping tale you written:)
Thank you Pat! The fall happened to me the other day!
Ouch! Hope you didn’t hurt yourself?
Right wrist and left ankle/shin…ouch!
Oof! nothing like taking a tumble and then being sore and bruised — but hopefully you will be well and better soon.
Take care!
Thank you! Working on mending! 🙂
Hahaha! Very good, Barb. What a sense of humor. Might it be autobiographical?
Definitely the fall!
Too bad the day ended as it did, but then somehow we all unzip and fall to pieces at some point. Good story, did not see that ending coming.
Thank you PJ!
What kind of soap did you use to get rid of the odor? Ethel
Regular bath soap does the trick! 🙂
Haha whoops. I like what you did with it.
🙂 Thank you for not casting a stone at me!
I only stone the crows 😉 Or I leave no tern unstoned
Hee hee! I try to leave no tern unstoned either!
That’s what I’m squawking about. It’s always the best way 🙂
