What is unique? It is something that while it may have common traits, has nuances that only it has. Just like each and everyone of us are unique. I take a lot of photos of subjects, and while I may take a lot of photos of one object, each photo is unique. The lighting has shifted, my position has shifted, my focus has shifted, and that is what makes each photo unique!
While we are a little over the middle of winter, I am anxiously awaiting the emergence of the daffodils. Over the years of living here I have planted hundreds, not only for their beauty, but because it is a flower that I can enjoy and the deer do not eat! Each flower is unique in coloring, and in the ruffles of their cones. Right now the greens are emerging from the ground and are about 4″ tall. Here are the lovely flowers I am looking forward to seeing…
Thank you for coming along with me, and I hope that you enjoyed my lovely daffodils! Be sure to check out what others have posted for this challenge! There are some amazing photos! Here is the link to the challenge followed by a few links to other posts on “Unique!”

I hope that you have had a great day, and thanks for stopping by!
Great shots! I could use some daffodils right about now…
Come on over! I have hundreds!
Beautiful shots Babs, I planted some daffs years ago and they’ve never made an appearance, I think the severe cold spell we had that year killed them all. I’ll try again this year 🙂
They are beautiful! Just make sure your planting depth is correct. We get snow and low temps and mine have survived!
Lovely. I am a huge daffodil fan too and have them planted around the yard. Ours won’t come up in the flower beds til April though the ones next to the foundation in the sun will show some green in March.
You have amazing macro shots!! WOW!
Why thank you!
I really love your photos, they’re stunning! But the most outstanding for me are Starburst and Emergence (:
Thank you Manna! I love the macro photography as you get to see so much more of the world behind that lens than you would with just your eyes! Please come back again!
I love macro shots—these are beautiful! God bless!
