Blur – A WordPress Photo Challenge

Michelle over at WordPress has chosen the topic “Blur” for this week’s photo challenge. She says, “This week, share a photo that’s a blur. You could keep your camera out of focus to achieve a blurry photo, or take a photo of something in motion. Fresh – A WordPress Photo Challenge!

The Color Orange – A WordPress Photo Challenge

Michelle over at WordPress has chosen the color orange to be the focus of this week’s photo challenge. She says, “This week, share a group of photos where orange is either the dominant color, or provides a bold highlight. Shoot for at least three photos, and look for different shades — bright neons, deep rusts, delicate peaches.” So, here we go into my orange world!

Reward – A WordPress Photo Challenge!

Krista, over at WordPress has chosen “Reward” as this week’s challenge topic! She says, “Reward is filthy with possibility: it could be your third grader’s beaming smile after reading her first chapter book, a steaming mug of chicken soup after a long run in the cold, a photo of your brand-new baby — your reward for patience during nine months of construction, or your extended family gathered around the dinner table.” Here are my rewards:

Rule of Thirds – A WordPress Photo Challenge!

This week the topic for the WordPress Photo Challenge is the rule of thirds. Here is what Jen H. has to say: “The Rule of Thirds is a photography concept that puts the subject of the photograph off-center, which usually results in blank space in the rest of the image. If you focus closely on your subject and use a wide aperture, your photograph’s background will also be beautifully blurred in that blank space. The blurred area behind your focal point is referred to as bokeh, and when executed well, it adds depth and artistry to an otherwise simplistic photograph.” Here is my go at The Rule of Thirds!
