Halloween always reminds me of my childhood…Let’s take a visit back in time shall we?

When I was a kid we made our own costumes from stuff we found around our house with a little help from our parents. Our candy bag was an old pillow case. We would set out trick or treating without Mom or Dad. We had no fear of anything happening to us. We rang the doorbell, or knocked and loudly shouted “Trick or Treat.” We didn’t always get treats. We saw some folks do some amazing tricks for us! In a three block radius we came home with quite a haul of candy!

Today then, scary photos are in order!

I can creep up on you and you might not notice! Feel that funny feeling going up your shin? It could be me!

Will you dream about me tonight?

Will you dream about me tonight?

Be careful as I might be watching you as I take in your scent and lick my lips!

Am I watching you?

Am I watching you?

How would you like to find me in your bag of candy? Go ahead, stick your hand in that bag or bucket of candy and just hope that I am not there to spray you with my exceptionally stinky scent!

Am I in your bag?

Am I in your bag?

May you not find me crawling up the cape of your costume!

Can I lick the chocolate off your fingers?

Can I lick the chocolate off your fingers?

Enjoy the day and thanks for stopping by today!

Three Witches from Macbeth

by William Shakespeare

Round about the cauldron go;
In the poison’d entrails throw.
Toad, that under cold stone
Days and nights hast thirty one
Swelter’d venom sleeping got,
Boil thou first i’ the charmed pot.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Happy Halloween!

Now isn’t that scary?

Enjoy the day!
