I just wanted to share some of the photos that I have been lucky to capture of the nature in the Sierra Foothills. If you are interested in photos, please comment and I will respond to you by email.
We have this frog all over and the sound they make is “wreck-eck.” Lady bugs leave their larva everywhere! Here is a photo of one emerging from the larvae. Here is a photo of an intriguing cut bug that challenged me when I took this photo. No matter where you live, everyone has these guys around. I am thankful that their main diet are mosquito’s! This little guy actually charged at my husband! We have had many run-ins with skunks up here! The honey bee is alive and well in the Foothills. Here is a honey bee taking advantage of us letting the broccoli bloom! This little guy who is in the center of the photo is drinking in the neighbors yard. We see them in the mornings generally. The Praying Mantis is hard to find but when you do it is a real treat! You can actually see them looking at you!We came home one night to find this guy on the frame of our front door.
More of these kind of photos will be coming in the future. I hope that you have enjoyed these!
