Amazing capturestuff of these beautiful critters. The green cricket with dew on him is quite beautiful!
Thank you Terri. It was quite a surprise when I found him and I was fortunate he was still there when I returned with the camera.
Cool photos!!
Thanks Pat!
Nice close ups of these insects, although some seem much larger than the usual ones most get to see, like the tarantula, not a small spider. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you PJ!
I don’t mind looking at the insects. Actually they’re beautiful in a way. But the tarantula,… well, it made me realize that I would never want to live the same territory where they live. We had one in the trailer one time in Mexico, and I wondered how I would ever be able to sleep in it again.
They are truly harmless. When we see them here, we see the males looking for the females. We came home one night to find one about 6″ long on the front door frame. I scooped it into two red cups so that I could move it. It jumped the entire time while in the cups. It was pretty cool.
OMG! I’m never moving to California.
You can still come and visit!
Love all of the photos. a rewarding exploration too.
Thanks! I love what I find.
