Since going through chemo, I have had issues with my hands. Not only do I have neuropathy, but tremors, or shaking, too. This makes taking photos, especially macro shots, hard to do. I gave it a go the other day and wanted to share with you some of the photos I took.
Out of the 175 photos I took that day, these were the best. I am hoping that eventually my hands will stop shaking. Thanks for dropping by today and be well… ^..^
Wonderfully colorful macros!
Thanks!
Those are beautiful shots, Barb. I admire your determination!
I had to see if I could still do it. It is not as easy as it once was due to the shaking.
All are colourful and lovely, Barbara. 🙂
Thanks Norma!
I think your photos are great. Macro is difficult and unless you have the professional photographers $60,000 Hasselblad and accouterments. I don’t have your neuropathy condition and my macro attempts don’t come close to yours.
Thanks for the comment PJ! Maybe one day I will be able to afford that Hasselblad!
Nice photos. Does your macro lens have built-in image stabilization? I assume you weren’t using a tripod.
Thanks Deral! No, it does not have built in stabilization. What I use for macro shots is called an extension tube. It tricks the camera into thinking that I am using a macro lens. You have to use the manual setting with the tube to get your shots. No tripod, but I probably should use that or my monopod.
The flowers are beautiful. They certainly brighten up the day 🙂
Thank you Colline!
You really succeeded with some beautiful macro shots. I’m doing a lot of macro, too, and know how hard it is even without shaking hands, but I never use a tripod, which might be good for you. Hope you recover soon.
Thank you! I love taking the macro shots because you can see things that most will miss. Thanks for the well wishes, and you be well too! ^..^
thanks a lot:)
A neighbour of mine went through that and she has fully recovered so there’s hope for you that all those symptoms will go away eventually. I admire your positive attitude. You will make it through this.
Thank you Anneli! I will make it through this! Hugs!
