Santa was really good to me this last Christmas! I got a new lens for my camera and the other day, mounting it on the camera and then on the tripod (the lens is very heavy), I set up seating for myself near the bird feeder. I was playing with the lens to see what I could capture. The lens: A Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3.
These are the photos that I took of some of our local Sierra Foothill Birds!
Here are a couple of photos of these birds in action! In this first shot, the bird has dropped one of the seeds, which it is watching drop from its beak.
And, this next shot are birds at the feeder!
I hope that you enjoyed these photos! I still want to capture the acorn woodpecker. I call this one, affectionately, our clown face! Hopefully I will be able to share some of this funny faced bird with you shortly!
Thanks for dropping by, and have an amazing Wednesday! Be well! ^..^
