This week Cherie Rowlands at WordPress chose the topic “Descent” for this week’s photo challenge! I like this topic! Let’s see what I have for you today, shall we?
The sun sets…
A plane making its descent…
A photo from a recent post of the Margerie Glacier. Here it is with a chunk of the glacier descending towards the water in the bay.
Check out the descending arms of the Bryn Mawr Glacier located in the College Fjords of Alaska! Click on the photo once to see the details of this amazing glacier!
I am behind this fellow as we make our descent into a narrow opening in the Moaning Cavern…
Please take the time to check out some of the other entries into this photo challenge! Have one heck of a good weekend! Happy Halloween! 😈

wooooooo…. you were quite valiente to go down that dark narrow passage! i’m impressed!
Got vertigo really bad walking down to that first landing and could not go further. My knees barked at me too as they could not make the 300 stairs down and then back up!
Perfect decent! Well done you. 😀
Thank you V!
Descent is all downhill to me……ha! Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
LOL! Thanks for the funny comment!
Great photos for descent. The last one gives me claustrophobia.
Thanks! To tell you the truth, I could not go past the first landing. I had vertigo really bad, and my knees would not make it!
I wouldn’t even consider going down there.
They warn you! There are 300 steps to the bottom landing…Not for me!
Looks like you have a good grasp of the concept. Nice photos!
Why thank you Marcybee!
