I decided today, being laid up with an ankle injury after falling over one of the cats, that today I would share with you some photos of a recent road trip! I had all sorts of plans of things to be done, including heading out to take more photos, but alas, I am housebound again, and not from chemo! That is coming up next week! So, let’s hit the road for some shots!
A bridge on the road…
The leaves on the Buckeye trees are browning, the flowers spent, and the seed pods are now developing. Later in the season, these little pods will resemble pears.
Stopping in a town, I admire a building and spy a crack in a wall.
Driving on a dirt road we come across an area where fire swept through last year. I found it interesting that there was a fungus growing on a burnt up tree.
The hillsides were covered with spiderwebs. The sun was shining just right, so you can see one of the bowl shapes that covered the hillside.
The remains of wildflowers!
I love finding faeries, and they are everywhere!
And upon returning we stop at a creek…
I love the peacefulness of the Sierra Foothills! I hope that you enjoyed the shots on the road!
Have a wonderful Wednesday! And, thank you for stopping by! Be well! ^..^
