I love looking at the little things that I find around me! We took a trip to Georgetown, located in the Sierra Foothills of CA, and I wanted to share some views of things that I noticed while we were there! I hope that you will enjoy this series of photos and that you make the trip to this quaint town!
There are a lot of old brick buildings in Georgetown, and I found the look of this corner a lovely mixture of lines and texture.
Walking on the street, there are overhangs on the sidewalks. Looking up this is what one sees.
Inside an antique store I found some lovely glass…
You know how I find the shapes and faces of animals and people in the world around me? Well, tell me, do you see the bear too?
Insulators can be found on every shelf of every antique store in the area. If you want to buy one of these plan on spending about $5 per insulator.
A gate and fence outside one of the buildings sported dusty webs…
A door with no stairs! I found this on the side of a building!
More glass in another shop! I love the curves on this bowl!
You never know what you will find in a small town like Georgetown! If you venture there, the sandwiches at the local market are really good, and reasonably priced!
Enjoy your Monday and thank you for stopping by!
Be well! ^..^
