“…show us your take on a monument (broadly defined). It could be a fresh angle on a well-known tourist site, or a place nobody knows outside your community. It doesn’t even have to be an official monument. A legendary coffeehouse, a churchyard cemetery, the remains of a treehouse you’d built as a kid — anything can be monumental as long as it’s imbued with a shared sense of importance.”
This is the topic for this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge! Let’s see what I can come up with, shall we?
My first thought for this challenge was of the monumental Grand Tetons!
WordPress is currently having issues as I am unable to upload a small 800KB photo. I might add more later, so do check back!
Have a great day and thanks for dropping by!

An 800KB photo is not small. That’s large. Very few of my photos are over 100KB, and probably not a single one over 200KB.
And that’s not a picture of the Grand Tetons from afar. That’s a picture from across the lake. A picture of the Grand Tetons from San Diego would be one from afar…………
Oh, I’m obviously in a good mood this afternoon………..LOL
While it was across a lake, it was still from afar. We were miles away from the Grand Tetons! 🙂
Too bad for us that WordPress is having issues getting things uploaded as we want more of your photos. This one is definitely monumental.
Maybe now I can add more?
Wow! Another grand shot you’ve taken of the Grand Tetons!
An old one but still monumental!
Those are nicely monumental. 🙂
Grand indeed!
Not much that can beat those for monuments!
Thank you Anneli!
