This week’s photo challenge asks that we show sources of light! One light came to mind that I simply had to share, and as we are coming close to Christmas you might remember this lamp from the movie “A Christmas Story.”
So, there you have it! One heck of a source of light! Check out other posts by clicking here!
Have a great Saturday! Thanks for visiting!

Ooh la la! Lovely lamp! can’t say it would go with my dΓ©cor, however, but, yes got to love those fishnets!
Remember those days of fishnets? They made your legs looks so lovely!
nice! π
I did get a leg up on everyone else — didn’t I? π
That movie really reminds me of my childhood, but in Pennsylvania rather than Indiana where I believe the movies setting was. The dad and the furnace, the snow, the goofy gift from an aunt, the 40 light strings plugged into one power outlet, the tongue on the frozen flag pole- my childhood in a nutshell during the Holidays. However – we never did get a lamp like that, but it does bring out the memories.
It was a really good movie, but having watched it every year for the last 20 is enough! Funny, I don’t feel that way about “It’s a Wonderful Life,” or “Miracle on 34th Street.” Not the remakes but the originals!
I always wanted a leg lamp. Fun!
I love the fishnets! Reminds me of 6th grade…oh, but I date myself!
Ha ha. That’s a good one. (Obviously I didn’t see the movie.)
I’ve got a leg up on the competition! LOL! π
The best movie!! π
