I really enjoy the contrasts and textures that I come across when I stroll around with my camera, and thought that today I would share some recent photos of just that!
When visiting my boyfriends I just had to snap off a photo of the lovely prints they left in the snow.
While there I caught this photo of one of the grey goose’s feathers. They look so soft that you just want to reach out and touch them!
When we were in Lake Tahoe around Emerald Bay I took this photo of melting snow and was lucky to get a shot that shows two perfectly round drops of water!
There was dead wood all around us. This piece seemed to be grabbing on to a piece of granite.
Check out this contrasting snow against granite.
I love it when I can catch reflections in the rippling water as it creates unique textures and patterns.
I love tree bark as you well know, and here is a shot of a madrone showing some amazing contrasts in color and textures!
Hey – thanks for stopping by today, and have a great Wednesday!
Love the bark photo and you really should sell your photography. 🙂
Thank you LuAnn! We are currently working on a website! Stay tuned for the announcement!
Opps you did ..I am glad ..PLEASE SELL?
Kathryn – Thank you for you lovely comments! I am currently working on a website to sell my photos. I have been truly honored by everyone who loves my photos and I am hoping that doing what I love will afford me an income at some point. I have won a number of contests, one in my own backyard with a local company, and I feel really humbled by the number of photographers I have following me. Stay tuned for the announcement of my website and I will make sure that we make this shot available for sale on the site! Many, many, many thanks! Hugs – B
I meant the bark picture. You should start signing your work my dear.

Love the goose feathers and the two drops of water seemingly suspended in mid-air. Thanks, Barb!

Thank you for the kind compliment Chris! What is happening with your blog site? There is nothing there.
Very nice contrasts in lighting and textures. Your blog’s header and borders show that as well, very nice!
