There is just something so dainty about the color pink! It can be found in a number of places in nature, and there is an abundance in my yard in the spring. As I sit here in winter, I am thinking of the upcoming season and the beauty it will bring. So let us take a walk in the past to find what is pretty in pink in my yard!
In my yard there are rock roses. They put out a profusion of flowers from late spring and continue to bloom throughout the summer. The blooms: They only last one day!
I love my garden and my garden loves me as evidenced by the hearts I find therein.
The gooseberry, a local native plant, are the bells of my garden! After flowering, a lovely sweet fruit developes that makes an incredible jam!
Walking through the garden to the orchard, the lovely pink flowers of the nectarine appear. These blossoms are very fragrant! No wonder the bees seek these out!
The delicate veins found within the next flower, which I believe is a Mexican primrose, have an amazing deep pink color surrounded by shades of paler pinks…
Pretty, isn’t it?
Then there is the amazing rhododendron. The stamens seem to reach for the stars!
I love to dance, and so does this flower, who is kicking up her legs from under a glorious pink skirt!
There is nothing like seeing the sunrise – right? Well how about seeing a sunrise within a flower?
I hope that you enjoyed the trip into the past! May you be in the pink always! Thank you for stopping by!
Stunning pictures!! Love the sunrise explosion!

Thank you for the reminder that spring will come. Here everything is barren, brown, and grey.
With a garden like that, you can’t help but love it! That goes to show you what a little love can do:>)

I did that on Fine Art America, Z, and they have so many folks on their site that no one finds you…I have ideas on how to get myself out there, and still have a lot to do before that point…like choosing the photos I want to feature….Thank you for thinking of me and sending me the link! Hugs to you my dear friend! – B
