how great that we benefited TWICE from the whims of your weather! ah, how i remember those first and rare snows in Mississippi. Maybe I will go to the beach and see if i can make a sand snowball and whirl it into the sky in your honor!

After the dry year last year, we need rain again this year. I think that this is the earliest snow we have had since we have been here. And it was quite lovely from looking up after posting my first blog today to see the snowflakes start to come down! While it didn’t last long it happened! I had a side job today, and my ride home: Corn snow coming down in buckets causing me to drive the hills in 1st gear going very slowly around each bend in the road. Please send the sand snowball our way! We love to honor our skies! Thanks Z!
seeing the snow must have felt a bit magical, though’ corn snow’ is a new term. hmmmm, i’ll bet a google search will tell me all i want to know about corn snow!

Corn snow resembles hail. It looks a bit different though, more white and doesn’t melt as fast. It goes through melt and freeze stages as it comes down…
wow! so it is like round pellets of sleet but not! i’ve never experienced that!

that would be great, and i suspected that you’d be prompted to enlighten more people about corn snow!
it’s amazing how many tangents a creative mind travels.. i have that problem when cooking, gardening, painting and writing! an artist friend once asked, ‘when you were a little girl, did the teachers have to tie you to a chair to keep you from flying around the room?’
i’m grateful that i have so many interests, and it appears that you have many as well! we’re lucky, as for me, i am never bored!
