One of the gems along the Foothills of the Sierra Nevada Range is Yosemite National Park. From where we live the drive to Yosemite is roughly three and a half hours. We made the drive down and here is a short photo trip for you of the grandeur that we found in the valley.
At the park entrance we were welcomed by this sign:

Wow, not much water left in Nevada or Vernal Falls. Loved the colors in the granite. Great photos.
There was not much water in the rivers at all. Very little too at Bridal Veil Falls. Thank you for the comment Janet – please come back again soon!
