I have always been intrigued by the unique patterns that are found in tree bark. And, I have taken a number of photos of tree bark over the years. I thought that I would share some of these photos with you. If you wish to see the unique details in these trees, then please do click on the photos and click on it again to see the amazing detail!
What is barking up your trees?

Get a few more photos of trees with animal hair on them and you could hold a showing at a gallery! Cool stuff!
Why thank you Marcella for thinking that my photos are that good! Hugs to you my friend!
I’m serious! They are! And as far as I know, unique.
Thank you!
How cool is that! I think if anyone were reading our comments about trees they’d think we were bonkers and you know, I don’t care! 🙂
🙂
These are wonderful photographs, I am a nut about trees and the tree bark, just excellent. I spent about an hour the other day being fascinated by the bark and the roots of this one huge ol’ tree down by a river near where I live. These photo’s are so cool. I’m going to go look at them some more. Great Post, Penny 🙂
Thank you Penny! The most interesting tree bark I have seen is on a cork bark tree. It looks just like cork!
Great photos, isn’t design in nature’s “things” beautiful?
You have some great ones, and I am not surprised that you’re a lover of trees as well! They ground us! Z
I need to be near trees and water. Always….Thanks for the comment Z!
