Life in the Foothills 
The thunder and lightning were ear drum shattering and terrifying, especially being “home alone”! I have never experienced anything this loud. Heard the thunder move off in the distance and decided it was safe to go back to bed but along comes another cell and another, all night long. The lightning never stopped. Dan was without power till almost noon today and I was without power till afternoon. Both transformers were damaged. I heard a horrendous noise that sounded like it was right alongside the house. Not much sleep.

That was one hell of a storm wasn’t it. Thunder and lightning was unbelievable. Thank God it had rain because fire was all I could think.
I was “flashing” on the dry lightning from a couple of years ago too and was happy to hear the rain come down!
