My dear sweet friend Kat, who lives in the southern region of this State, posted this recipe on her blog, and I felt like here was a recipe that I could do and would be great for company, and it was!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Bottomed Cupcakes
I did a Devil’s Food cake instead, and here are shots of my work in progress:
Follow the cookie dough with the cake batter.
Once baked, let them sit until cool and then frost and add the pretty little sprinkles!

oh Barb, you did a fantastic job! this looks soooo pretty!! when I was making my bday cupcakes, I was actually thinking of doing brownie+cookie cupcakes…your version reminded me of that 🙂
