Gardener’s always have the critters to worry about with their gardens. You have seen the photo of my most recent visitor…right?
Here is my latest visitor, whom I have named Fang. The photo tells it all!
What next you might be thinking to yourself…But, hey, this is Life in the Foothills, and the critters come with the territory! I just need to outsmart them!
Stay tuned for something sweet and delicious tomorrow!

I put screen mesh in the plant holes whenever I plant something in the ground. Does a very good job of keeping the little critters away from my plants, and without plant roots to eat, they tend to go to someone else’s yard.
Unfortunately it does not really work here. I put cages in the ground to keep the gophers away and the ground squirrels moved in!
What a little punk!
Fang you!
How funny! z
While he is really cute, they can be real buggers in the vegetable bed! At least he is outside of the garden!
i’ll bet.. iguanas are still my biggest pest, though Fang has more charisma! z
I look forward to seeing all of your critter photos! My favorites are the gray fox and humming birds, thanks so much for sharing!
You are welcome! I love it when I can capture some of the wildlife here in our area! Thank you for the comment!
Looks like he’s ready for action, and some of your garden!
