My broccoli had bolted, which I thought was unfortunate, until I discovered how their flowers attracted honeybees. So I grabbed the camera and planted myself in the garden with my camera in hand to see if I could catch them in action. I was very fortunate to have gotten these photos. The bees are rather quick as they move from flower to flower harvesting the pollen that they will later convert into honey. Clicking on the photos will give you a close up where you will be able to enjoy the details of this beautiful wonder of nature!

Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as clean as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
I look forward to your return! Thank you for all the comments Russel!

Thank you Joshi!
Gorgeous! They are amazing insects!
Liz – Glad you liked the photos!
What beautiful pictures – nice to see the honeybee in your pics given how scarce they are today 🙂
Thank you Annette!
I love wildlife on flowers — bees, birds, butterflies, flies, whatever.
So do I! I plant myself somewhere so that I can watch and wait for the opportunity to snap off photos!
