In My Neck of the Woods

I braved the cold morning air to wander about in my neck of the woods in search of photo opportunities after five days of rain. Life is returning to the Sierra Foothills in abundance. Moving on from here I think around the bend we will come across the American River. Ah, yes, here it is!

Notice how the river surrounds the center hillside? Let’s start heading back. Look at the colors there along the hillside!
