I love the snow! As it falls everything gets really quiet. There is something hypnotizing about the gently falling flakes! I could sit for hours watching it, which I did yesterday. I shared some photos yesterday, but wanted to share a bit more of this beauty with you today! I have a few shots in this post, and a video that you can watch too!

When I got up this morning it was absolutely glorious! Clear skies and blue and white everywhere! Here is the sun rising in the foothills.

Yes, I’m loving the snow, too! My first one since moving to Placerville. Looking out the window now at snow-laden branches sparkling in the sun against a blue sky. Fabulous! Loved the photos and the video, Barb.

Glorious sunset.
It was truly amazing to see the colors comes up! My feet were frozen as I stood there for about 20 minutes to get that shot!
I’m sure they were. We’re so used to tropical sunsets where you can feel the heat. But this one is the opposite, cool and clear. Fabulous.
