This week’s WordPress photo challenge is Love. Love can encompass so many things. It is an emotion that we feel for one another. It is emotion we feel for the animals we keep around us. It is found in the passion we have for living life. It is found in the passion that we have those things we love to do. Real love is unconditional and is boundless.
One of my passions is my love for food! The most important ingredient in everything that I prepare, and leave out of my recipes as it is a given for me, is love! I prepare food injecting it with the love I feel for those I cook for. So this post is focused on my passion and love for food! Recipe links follow!

This is a good take on love Barbara. Food means comfort and fond memories to so many people, which in turn can mean love. Good job!
Thank you Liz!

Stop by any time! I will fill your belly!

Yummy! What a fun take on the challenge!
Something different is always good right? Thanks for the comment!
wow! you should have a b&b! you’d be booked 100 percent all the time, just for the culinary bliss… and then there are the gardens.. and the wildlife…. yes, b&b would suit you well!
Too much work! Today I got started early in the kitchen making braised short ribs for the first time in my cast iron dutch oven! It came out perfect! My husband will re-heat that tomorrow, but tonight is Sopa de Albondigas! My meat mixture has been melding flavors in the refrigerator all day, as I made this too in the morning…How is the art piece going? Hugs to you Z – B
the art piece and i had a short disagreement.. i had the basic design painted in black/gray washes, and after pondering it, i wanted to tweak a few areas, so i rolled three coats of white paint over everything! it’s going to be stronger because of it!!!!
for a totally different distraction, i finished painting the ‘stake’ for the rain gauge and varnished it, and now it’s in the garden. i ‘drank’ the 1.5 inches of rainwater from the gauge!!!! ha ha!
dinner sounds lovely! the crock pot cooked for me – pot roast type cuisine…
i’m about to restart the painting!

I bet that the water was fresh and crisp! I hope that once you start again that it does not disagree with you this time!
As Led Zeppelin might have put it:” That’s a whole lotta love”.
Best,
Conor
I love food Conor! Now I will have that song in my head all day!
Best to you too! – B
Love those food photos you post, each one is affecting my taste buds! Thanks for them and the recipes as well.
